ASICS: Office Interior Design in Singapore Case Study

Client: ASICS

Location: 1 Raffles Place, Singapore

Project Type: Office Interior Design

Size: 9,000 sq ft

Completion: 2019/2020

ASICS office interior design reception at 1 Raffles Place Singapore

The ASICS workspace at 1 Raffles Place was designed to support flexibility, collaboration and employee comfort within a modern hybrid working environment.

Across the 9,000 sq ft office, I.Dezign created a variety of spaces for individual tasks, private conversations, team discussions and formal meetings. The combination of open areas, enclosed rooms and informal work settings gives employees greater choice throughout the working day.

The Project Challenge

The main challenge was to create a workplace that could support different activities without making the office feel divided or difficult to navigate.

Employees needed professional meeting rooms for formal discussions, quieter areas for calls and focused work, and comfortable shared settings for collaboration. These different environments had to remain visually connected while offering the appropriate level of privacy for each task.

The interior also needed to reflect the active and recognisable identity of ASICS while maintaining a clean, practical and comfortable corporate workplace.

Our Design Approach

I.Dezign introduced a clear reception area with an illuminated ASICS logo against a polished black feature wall. Glass partitions keep the entrance visually open and provide a connection to the meeting rooms and wider workspace beyond.

Formal meeting spaces use timber finishes, clean architectural lines and integrated lighting to create a professional environment. One boardroom is framed by layered timber panels and linear lighting, giving the room warmth and visual depth while maintaining a focused setting for discussions.

Colourful booths provide alternative spaces for short meetings, individual work and informal conversations. Blue, yellow and orange finishes give each setting a distinct identity and bring energy into the workplace without affecting the professional character of the office.

An enclosed focus pod offers additional privacy for calls and concentrated tasks. Its glass enclosure maintains a visual connection with the open office while helping employees work away from surrounding activity.

The workplace also includes comfortable breakout seating with upholstered wall panels, timber details and integrated storage. These shared settings give employees a more relaxed place to work, meet colleagues or take a break from their main workstations.

The Project Outcome

The completed ASICS office brings together formal meeting rooms, private focus spaces, colourful discussion booths and comfortable breakout areas within one connected workplace.

Employees can select an appropriate environment based on the activity they are completing, whether they need privacy, collaboration or a more informal working setting. Glass partitions maintain openness, while timber finishes, bright brand-inspired colours and upholstered surfaces create visual variety and comfort.

This case study shows how thoughtful office interior design in Singapore can support flexibility, teamwork and employee comfort within a modern hybrid workplace.
