ARLANXEO is a world-leading synthetic rubber company headquartered in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The company develops and manufactures high-performance synthetic rubber for the automotive and construction industries.

ARLANXEO was initially established as a joint venture involving LANXESS, one of the world’s leading speciality chemical companies. It later became a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco. I.Dezign was appointed to create a functional Singapore workplace that could support ARLANXEO’s corporate workflow and daily business activities.

The Project Challenge

The project needed to be approached as one coordinated development while housing ARLANXEO and LANXESS as two separate corporate entities due to compliance requirements.

This meant the workplace had to support both organisations while maintaining the necessary separation between them. The overall site at International Business Park covered approximately 24,000 sq ft, requiring careful planning across a large corporate environment.

Another important challenge was completing the office renovation through a live migration. The work had to be carefully organised around ongoing business activities, making planning, coordination and phased implementation essential throughout the project.

Our Design Approach

I.Dezign developed a practical workplace layout based closely on ARLANXEO’s corporate workflow and team requirements.

The office includes both open-plan workspaces and private offices. This combination gives employees access to collaborative working areas while also providing enclosed rooms for tasks that require greater privacy or concentration.

The reception creates a clean and professional first impression. An illuminated ARLANXEO Performance Elastomers logo establishes a clear corporate presence, while visitor seating and a streamlined reception counter create a welcoming arrival area. Blue details connect the entrance naturally with the company’s visual identity.

The Project Outcome

The completed ARLANXEO workplace brings together open workspaces, private offices, numerous meeting rooms and a communal pantry within one functional corporate environment.

The office layout supports different working requirements while following the company’s established workflow. The project also responds to the compliance requirement of accommodating ARLANXEO and LANXESS as separate entities within one coordinated development.

Careful live-migration planning allowed the renovation process to be organised around continuing business activities. The completed office provides ARLANXEO with a professional and practical workplace at International Business Park.
