Central to the design is the "Pet Playhouse" concept, inspired by the classic doghouse roof shape to evoke security and warmth. A park-inspired pathway runs through the retail space, aiding navigation and organising products intuitively by pet anatomy. Themed zones — including beach and treehouse areas, a cat climbing playhouse, a dog tunnel, and a spa-inspired grooming oasis — create an environment where pets are genuinely welcome, encouraging owners to visit with their animals for events such as pet training.

The Level 2 workspace balances productivity and comfort through collaborative areas, private meeting rooms, and acoustic treatments — including plush carpets and soft furnishings — to offset noise from full-height glass panels, with finishes selected to complement the retail aesthetic below.

HICC Pet's brand colours — teal, yellow, and purple — are woven throughout the warm colour scheme, reinforcing the store's identity as a joyful, dedicated space for pet wellness. The result is a space shaped by close client collaboration and careful attention to the distinct needs of both cats and dogs.
