Warm, layered and quietly luxurious, World Gold Council's new office brings the richness of dark wood into a bright, contemporary workplace.

Located at 6 Battery Road, the office combined deep timber finishes, soft neutral tones and ambient lighting to create an executive environment that remains welcoming and approachable.

At the entrance, the illuminated feature wall creates a striking focal point, complemented by integrated display shelving and linear ceiling elements. Natural light and planter cabinets keep the main workspace open and refreshing, balancing the darker material palette.

The adjoining pantry offers a relaxed setting for informal conversations and team interaction. Warm timber cabinetry, orange seating and distinctive two-tone floor finishes give it a vibrant identity while remaining cohesive with the wider office.

In the executive-style boardroom, clean lines, integrated technology and a softly illuminated ceiling feature create a polished setting for important meetings. Refurbished Humanscale chairs supplied by Crown Workspace were given a new lease of life within the space, extending the lifespan of existing furniture and reducing the need for newly manufactured pieces. This considered choice supports a more sustainable approach to workplace design without compromising comfort, function or aesthetics.

The final design translates World Gold Council’s vision into a professional and inviting setting that captures their prestige, without compromising on warmth or comfort.
